Neti pot or nasal irrigation can ease the symptoms of nasal polyps. It can reduce the cause of nasal polyps such as sinus infections and allergies. To use this effectively, run sterilized salt water or warm water with the help of a small pot through nasal passages. It is better if the water is boiled first and then allowed to cool so that it comes to a warm temperature. Salt needs to be added to the water. There should be enough salt so that the solution tastes salty. Then, keep the head in a tilted position and run the solution through the nostrils – in through one nostril and out through the other.
